Volunteers are needed at all levels to help rise with planning and delivering our social enterprise training programs in sub-Saharan Africa.
At this time, our primary volunteer need is for mentors to work with participants in our Lesotho program.
Become A Mentor
Individuals with social business, construction, engineering, or architecture background are highly desired volunteer mentors.
Mentors serve for one year and commit to dedicating four hours per month to provide guidance to a local graduate of our program. Meetings can take place in-person, through email or telephone or virtually through a tool like Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Skype.
To apply for a mentor position, please fill out the following form to send us your name, contact information, country of residence, and a resume or CV with areas of skills/expertise. Also, indicate if you have served as a mentor previously with another organisation and why you want to mentor with rise.
Other Volunteer Positions
In addition to seeking mentors for our Lesotho program, we are also seeking other volunteers who believe in rise‘s mission to support social entrepreneurship in developing countries. If you have any other skill-sets or talents to share, and would like to volunteer to help us achieve our mission, please contact us using the form below.
